Kopi Luwak , or Civet Coffee




Kopi luwak, is originated from indonesia, "kopi" means coffee, "luwak" is civet, an animal that looks like a cat but not a cat.

for coffee lover, they should know about kopi luwak or civet coffee, because its the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world, and produced with a limit because its production is involving the luwak or civet.

i rather call it kopi luwak, because Indonesia is known as the biggest distributor for this coffee, which production centralized in java and sumatra island, because the "luwak" habitats there. Though some other country produce this coffee too, Vietnam, and Philippines.

So how actually this coffee is processed, and so called "kopi luwak". here are some information if you are unfamiliar with it.

1. This animal is called "luwak"















2. This so called luwak, eats the the coffee berries, At this point things change and for reasons known only to the Luwak, the cherry is selected and then eaten by a Luwak



























3. just like all humankind in the world, we pup, or SH*T, this Luwak Sh*t out the coffee berries, which are not digested is the beans, coffee beans. This how it looks like.






















4. The beans are separated, and dry them under the sun.






















5. after dry them up under the sun about 1 week, they farmer crash the beans in a mortar to remove the outer skin, of the beans. and the woman will select the best coffee beans to be roasted.
